Learn to surf in the warm tropical waters of Costa Rica with the help of our friendly and experienced staff. You will learn the basics of paddling, standing, and turning, as well as wave selection and other fundamental skills. We have to warn you though: Surfing is addictive!
Surfboards are more common than cell phones in this small town, so it was only a matter of time before we began to teach surfing to our students. The surf program was born approximately one year after the school was established. Due to the fact that the Playa Jaco area is well known to have great waves and warm water year-round, it is only natural that so many people come here to learn how to surf. Catering to both first-time and advanced surfers the School of the World quickly became one of the premier surf schools in Costa Rica.
Price includes:
- Lodging
- Guided Surf trips daily (Mon-Fri) (Usually twice a day depending on conditions and tides.)
- Kayak/Snorkel Trip - Kayak along the beautiful coastline and snorkel in the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean.
We offer 2 and 4 week programs as well.
