Kingdoms and Crusades
Following the complex interwoven tapestry of colour, culture, politics and
history that is the Middle East, this tour takes you back to a time of kingdoms,
crusades and ancient civilisations. Explore the Arabian Middle East in real
depth. From Amman with the Dead Sea and Petra – the Red Rose city, to
Syria with its wealth of ancient cities, endless desert plains and bustling
markets. Start or finish this tour in Egypt, where the ancient monuments still
fascinate us with their grand architecture. Make the most of the great outdoors
and try snorkelling on the Red Sea reefs, floating on the Dead Sea or perhaps
a camel safari in the Egyptian sand dunes.
Due to Foreign office advice advising 'against
all but essential travel' to Lebanon we are unable to offer the optional day
trip to Beirut, Lebanon on this tour. We will continue to monitor the situation
and advise all passengers of any changes to the advice.
