If you want your kids to be really safe in the surf, then a surf school is a great place to start. Once they are competent swimmers, New Zealand Surf n Snow Tours will teach all the fundamentals of surfing, surf safety and surfing rules.
Choose between our 1 Day Surf School, 2 Day and 5 Day Surf Schools. All our instructors are New Zealand Endorsed Surf Coaches and have taught kids from all ages. Our instructors are in the water at all times to make you feel comfortable and reach that ultimate goal of standing and catching your first wave!
Our surf school is mobile giving you access to the best learning conditions around the Auckland area. Learn about rips, holes and undertows, how to identify them, escape them and use them to your advantage. You will also learn the difference between offshore and onshore winds, afternoon sea breezes, tides, and surfing rules.
