This spectacular wilderness lodge is situated on Tyaughton Lake at 1010m (3313ft) above sea level in the magnificent Chilcotin Mountain Range.

The terrain lies in a transition zone between the Coastal Mountains of British Columbia and the dry rolling Fraser Plateau in the South Chilcotin Mountains. With over 80km, (830K acres) of skiable terrain both to the east and to the west. And with 375 existing runs, there will be no shortage of magical turns.

With an average of only 1 down day every two weeks and a supply of blue-bird days, exceptional heliski conditions can be found just about every single day. Their tenure receives up to 25 metres (82 feet) of annual snowfall. Each day ski groups fly out to find the sweet spot and a day to remember!

Return helicopter transfers from Pemberton Airport (45mins north of Whistler) are included on all Tyax Heliskiing packages. Depending on package type and date, guests will either be transferred directly to the lodge from Vancouver, or will be taken to Pemberton via ground transfer before a short helicopter flight to Tyax Lodge.

Once in Vancouver you heli ski holiday includes ground transfer to Pemberton (located just outside of Whistler) followed by heli transfer to/fromTyax Lodge & Heliskiing, weather permitting.

ARRIVAL DAY
09:00 - Pick-up at Vancouver International Airport (YVR)
09:30 - Pick-up downtown Vancouver 12:00 - Pick-up Whistler
13:00 - Arrive in Pemberton, enjoy a light lunch then enjoy a picturesque heli-transfer to Tyax Lodge
15:00 - Orientation, Safety Meeting & Training 19:00 - Dinner

SKI DAYS
06:30 - Stretch Class 07:00 – Breakfast 08:30 - Helicopter Lift-Off...and because we ski with just 1 group per helicopter, you will head out straight away, no waiting for other groups.
16:30 - Return to the lodge and enjoy Après ski!
19:00 - Dinner
