Hang Gliding

We are here to help with your next hang gliding travel adventure. Whether soaring over a coastline or navigating unpredictable currents off a mountain top, where to hang glide is always the big question.

Flying is one of the most exhilarating experiences you can have and Hang gliding is one of the only ways we can fly without the use of an engine. Below a flexible airfoil wing the pilot is attached to a harness and launches by running down a slope into the wind.

Once airborne the pilot lies facing forward in the harness and can remain in the air soaring effortlessly by for hours by using thermals and air currents. Hang gliding is a world wide sport with many clubs and associations and is predominantly carried out on hills or mountains with the correct prevailing winds with good landing areas below.

A great way to try hang gliding a go is to experience a tandem flight with an experiences pilot.
