Vietnam Backroads is found/ established in 2010 by a Vietnamese and used to be a cycling guide. Van has passionate about cycling adventures. He had been working and involving the tourism industry for many years, and he realized that vacation combined with experience is a unique way to see a country. He had been cycling to many different places in different regions in Vietnam to scout almost all cycling routes to build up all cycling itineraries. Since 2010 his team has been sharing his passion for travelling by bicycle. We believe that cycling is the only way to see the world. It’s because you can taste, smell and experience local lives directly, learn a new culture, meet friendly locals at their homes, and explore the untouched countryside, especially the beauty of nature, country, and local life by bicycle. We ensure that you return home with unforgettable bike trips. We offer riders with different levels, depending on the skills of travellers/cyclists. Ride on mixed terrains of roads; flat/hilly single track, dirt paths, concrete paths, and biking distances are flexible based on riders’ skills and ability.

By 2014, Vietnam Backroads started a new business: Saigon Bike Shop which related to its company running cycle tours. Saigon Bike Shop has MTB bikes from size S to XXL bike sizes to support all tours for Vietnam Backroads Company. All MTB bikes are wheel size: 27.5, 29″ and Trek hybrid bike wheel size 700c. All bicycles are equipped with hydraulic brakes, Deore groupsets, and good-quality front forks Rockshox XC30. This bike will give you a comfortable ride more than your expectation. Our private A/C support vehicles and professional licensed bike guides, and skilled mechanics will make your cycling adventure trips smooth and more enjoyable. You will be please with what we offer! Bicycle maintenance and bike repair are also top services to locals and foreigners in Ho Chi Minh city. Mr. Van and his mechanic team have shared the experience with independent cyclists bringing their bikes.
