We’ll meet the group for this SE England rock climbing skills course near Tunbridge Wells in the Harrisons rocks car park in east Sussex.
After a short introduction and safety briefing we’ll walk though the forest to find the rock outcrops and some warm up bolder problems. Once there well issue you with your safety equipment and give you a little orientation to this special site of scientific interest.
We’ll send you a recommended kit list prior to the climbing course so you can come prepared, including lunch.
Led by our experienced instructor and coach, we’ll run you through a variety of skills and hopefully enthused you with the sport. The entire activity will last for approximately 7 hours.
Overview
Learn to climb at Harrisons Rocks near Tunbridge Wells in SE of England. This Sussex rock climbing course is the a perfect way for all ages to get into rock climbing
Course Content
Your instructors will then show you how to fit your climbing harness and helmet. Then comes the techy part as we teach you how to tie your climbing knots and learn how to belay each other.
Once the basics are learnt the fun really begins as you scale the 30-40ft rocks! You’ll learn about correct climbing technique and experience some great sandstone climbs at Harrisons rocks.
As the SE England rock climbing skills course near Tunbridge Wells progresses we\'ll introduce more climbing techniques and skills. We\'ll challenge you on a range of different climbs from slab climbs, vertical climbs, crack climbs and even overhanging climbs!
