10-day honeymooners' safari holiday in Tanzania: Itinerary.

Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport to Tulia Retreat Hotel and Spa
Meet professional English-speaking driver guide at Kilimanjaro airport and drive to Tulia Retreat Hotel and Spa for overnight bed and breakfast. Stay in self-contained double room with hot showers, Wi-Fi, international TV Channels, electric cable system to charge your Phones.

Day 2: Arusha National Park
Pickup from your hotel at 08:30am, drive to Arusha National Park for 4 hours walking with armed ranger, you should expect so many wild animals to see giraffes, zebras, antelope, buffalo, black and which colobus monkeys and potentially elephants near the trail.

After Lunch will take you for a canoe safari on Lake Momella, unique opportunity to get close to the animals, you can see different animals, for example Hippos, buffalos, giraffes, waterbucks and many different species of birds. In addition, you have spectacular views of the Kilimanjaro and Meru mountains.

After a delicious picnic lunch you continue with game drive in Arusha National Park. After plenty of time to observe the wildlife, you will drive to Tulia Retreat Hotel and Spa for overnight. Bed and breakfast.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast our guide will pick you at 9.00am, drive with picnic lunch to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive.

Tarangire National Park covers 2,600 square kilometers and at dry times, the concentration of animal’s rivals that of the much better known Serengeti – the game numbers are staggering: E.g. 30,000 Zebras, 25,000 Wildebeests, 5,000 Buffaloes, 3,000 Elephants, 2,500 Maasai Giraffes and over 1,000 Fringe-eared Oryx’s (gemsbok), Predators include Lions, Cheetah and Leopards.

Also flocks of birds: E.g. Green Wood Hoopoes, Fisher Lovebirds, white bellied go-away birds and giant kingfishers. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Baobab Tented Camp.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park
After breakfasts drive to Serengeti National Park, enjoy full day game drive en-route with picnic lunch box to Seronera via Ngorongoro, Serengeti National Park is the largest national park in the world with huge variety of animals and birds, search among the trees and kopjes for the elusive Leopards and cheetah as well as Wildebeest Migration.

After sunset drive to Serengeti Heritage luxury Camp for dinner and overnight, hot shower, mosquito nets, telephone connection available.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park
Early at 05:30 am take your breakfast box and proceed for Sunrise game drive until 08:30am drive back to the camp, take your picnic lunch box and proceed for a full day game drive in this wonderful National Park.
Our guides will choose the best spotting locations depend on the time of year, you can spend time at the hippo pool watching these majestic animals laze about in the cool water happily living alongside the crocodiles, watch a big pride of Lions, be in the middle of the Migration, sometimes surrounded by Wildebeests, Zebras, which travel with the Wildebeests.
This diverse and interesting landscape will provide the ultimate in game viewing, hopefully you will see all of the plain games; elephants, Giraffes, Zebras, Wildebeests, Lions and if you are lucky the elusive Leopards and Cheetahs, as well as huge amounts of interesting bird life.
After sunset drive to Serengeti Heritage luxury Camp for dinner and overnight, hot shower, mosquito nets, telephone connection available.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park
This day you will have sunrise game drives with breakfast box, and proceed to the plains of Serengeti with picnic lunch boxes to have a full day game drive. Enjoy Wildebeest Migrations depend on season.
After lunch proceed for afternoon and evening game drive in the vast Serengeti Plains, home to a huge variety of animals and birds, Search among the trees and Kopjes for the elusive Leopards and cheetah as well as Wildebeest Migration.
After Sunset game viewing, drive to Serengeti Heritage luxury Camp for Dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Serengeti to Eileen’s Trees Inn at Karatu
Early at 5.30am have a cup coffee and proceed for sunrise game viewing, at 8.00am drive back to the camp for full breakfast. After breakfast have a Game viewing en-route with picnic lunches and visit to the small but very interesting Dr. Leakey Museum at Olduvai Gorge. Drive to Eileen’s Trees Inn for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater
After early breakfast, descend 610 meters into Ngorongoro Crater floor for 6 hours game viewing with picnic lunch. Spot the endangered black Rhinos, Lions, Elephants, Zebras, Buffaloes and wildebeest and other wild animals.

Also in Ngorongoro Crater Soda Lake you will see many species of birds including Flamingos. All these animals in turn support large predators such as Lions and Leopards, and scavengers such as Hyenas and Jackals. Late evening drive to Eileen’s Trees Inn for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast drive with picnic lunch to Lake Manyara National Park (About 135 Km), for full day game viewing at the home to giant fig trees, acacia woodlands, mahogany trees and grassy flood plains. The contrasts of this area are simply breathtaking, with the open plains, huge escarpment, Soda Lake, dense woodlands, and distance volcanic peaks.

Animals such as Elephants, Hippos, Impalas, Giraffe, Warthog, Wildebeest, Blue monkeys and Buffaloes can be seen.

This Park is also home to the famous tree climbing lions and Leopards, birds’ life with over 400 species having been recorded within the parks boundaries. Highlights include pink-hued flamingos, herons, storks and pelicans.
Late evening drive to Arusha at Tulia retreat Hotel and Spa for overnight bed and breakfast.

Day 10: Arusha to Kilimanjaro International Airport
Take a time to visit Arusha market, Maasai market, Tanzanite Museum and do shopping. Then dive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight.
