This Icelandic operation is the first heli skiing company and today they holds exclusive rights to ski what is the most incredible heli ski terrain in Iceland. Runs ranging from summit to sea – to the longest vertical drops on the Troll Peninsula, skiing right to the front door at our Klængshóll Lodge.

The season starts at the end of February where guests typically experience powder snow conditions. The season continues until the end of June with generally excellent corn skiing. The fact that the Troll Peninsula is surrounded by the Arctic Ocean makes for incredible opportunities for skiing right down to the ocean on stable coastal snowpack. Throw in a mix of Northern lights, midnight sun, volcanic activity, hot springs, lava fields and a unique Viking culture and you will find Iceland is a true ski and snowboard adventure destination.

Guests experience vertical descents of up to 1500m (5000 ft) and covers more than 4000 sq km, or 1500 sq miles of breathtaking Arctic mountains. Terrain is suited for every skiers ability be it extreme couloirs or wide open glaciers.
