Travelling to Nepal would be a memorable time but when you add Heliskiing in the Himalayan’s, well that’s another level. Partnering with Craig Calonica, a legend of a man, will take you on a trip of a lifetime which can include Everest, Annapurna, Dhauligiri and Humla regions of Nepal. But will concentrate on the Annapurna mountain range.
Traveling to Nepal, is a mixed weather bag. Nepal for example is the same latitude as Miami Florida, hence the jungle and the Bengal Tigers, Leopards, Elephants, Rhinos, etc. Kathmandu will be warmer where you could get by with sandals, shorts and light shirts in the day and a light jacket, sweater and pants in the evening. In the mountains it will be colder, but not so cold that it will be uncomfortable.

The first night guests spend in Kathmandu at the Aloft by Marriot Bonvoy in Thamel. Customizing of additional nights at selected hotels can be arranged. This is a 1-week heliskiing & heliboarding trip that will include the Annapurna and Everest region from mid-February to mid April. All trips are Saturday to Saturday. They heliski Monday through Friday, and use Saturday for a make up day if needed.
Should any person wish to extend the trip and do some more sightseeing in Kathmandu or a day trip to Bhaktapur they will book additional nights for guests.
Recommended inoculation shots for Nepal are; Hepatitis A, Typhoid and Meningitis (meningococcal) inoculations. As always, check in with your local health department for their inoculation recommendations at least 30 to 45 days before your departure.
Tourist visas can be purchased upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and at all other ports of entry. All foreigners must pay an airport exit tax, regardless of the length of their stay. For your Heli Ski trip, all that is required is the standard 30 day visa for $30 USD. Presentation of a valid passport, two passport size photos and fees mentioned above is all that is required.
