Ama Dablam is a small, snowcapped peak of 6,812m lying in the Everest region. This south west ridge is the normal and most popular route to ascend Mount Ama Dablam. This mountain is considered to be one of the most stunning and technical peaks in the Himalayas and one of the most impressive mountains in the world. Mountaineers have to cross difficult ice rocks and steep snow climbs on their route. Mountaineers usually have to pitch three high camps while climbing Ama Dablam (6,812m).

From the top of Mount Ama Dablam the charming scenery of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Island Peak, Makalu, Khumbu Himal and rest of the snowcapped surrounding mountains can be seen.

Itinerary

Mt. Ama Dablam Trekking Expedition in the Himalayas, Nepal: Itinerary.

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: In Kathmandu for official procedures and preparations.
Day 3: Fly by Helicopter to Namche (3340m). Overnight in lodge.
Day 4: In Namche for acclimatization.
Day 5: Trek to Deboche (3760m).
Day 6: Trek to Pangboche/Ama BC/Pangboche(3950m).
Day 7: Trek to Dingboche(4410m). - O/N at Lodge.
Day 8: Rest day in Dingboche. - O/N at Lodge.
Day 9: Trek to Chhukung (4730m) - O/N at Lodge.
Day: 10Chhukung – Island peak Base Camp (5100m) - O/N Camp.
Day 11: High camp 5400m.
Day 12: Summit island peak and back to Chukung.
Day 13: Trek to Pangboche (3901m) - O/N at Lodge.
Day 14: Trek to Mt. Ama Dablam Base Camp (4600m).
Day 15-23: Climbing Mount Ama Dablam (6812m).
Day 24: Scheduled flight Ama Dablam BC/Kathmandu & transfer to hotel.
Day 25: Kathmandu.
Day 26: International departure.
