Rivergods provide kayak tours, training, canoe and kayak hire, classes, and team events. At Rivergods, there is something for everyone with trips for the adventurer, the environmentalist, and beginners and pros.

Choose from four tours we have available:

1) Seal and Penguin Island Sea Kayak Day Tour – This is a fantastic kayak trip for the whole family to enjoy! Our bus departs Perth daily to Shoalwater Bay where we introduce you to your stable double sea kayaks.

These are easy to paddle and allow you to see Australian sea lions in their natural environment. These playful creatures love to swim and splash around your boat along with the dolphins. After kayaking with the local marine life, we then visit the fairy penguins for their daily feeding before sitting down to enjoy a picnic lunch.

The rest of the day is at your own leisure – relax in the sun, snorkel, or explore the island and discover many shellfish, starfish, crabs, sea birds, and lizards.

2) Canning River Half Day Kayak Tour – Marvel at the serenity as you paddle quietly amongst the paperbark trees watching the abundant and beautiful water birds amongst the natural vegetation. Your guide informs you about this beautiful area and the creatures that live here as you enjoy this relaxing paddle. The area is very sheltered because of the surrounding trees and narrow banks so the water is very calm.

3) Swan Valley Half Day Kayak Tour – This half-day trip is run using open double kayaks in the Swan River through the beautiful Swan Valley. We start from Mandoon Estate and paddle along the Swan River from there with the tour ending at the same point after approximately 3 hours. As you travel through Perth’s Swan Valley, our professional guides will inform you of the area’s rich history as well as wildlife spotting.

We’ll also stop halfway for a break where you can have a snack and re-energize before paddling back. While the waters are generally calm, this area is enjoyed by both paddlers and motorboats, so basic paddling experience is recommended.

4) Monkey Mia 5-day Sea Kayak Tour – Paddle through this amazing world heritage listed area along the Peron Peninsula. You will see an abundance of wildlife from your kayak including dugongs, dolphins, turtles, fish and birdlife.

We paddle in calm sheltered water by day, and the nights are spent camping on remote beaches under the stars. We carry everything in the kayaks with us and end the trip with a 4WD trek to the hot springs. There are limited places available on each trip, so book early to avoid disappointment!
