Uganda 3-day big 5 safari in Murchison Falls National Park, itinerary:

Day 1
Pickup - Rhino tracking at Ziwa - Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, you'll set off for Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an hour of on-foot rhino tracking. Following the tracking, you'll drive to Masindi for lunch. After lunch, continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. In the park, you'll have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalo, and elephants. Before reaching your lodge, enjoy a short game drive. Finally, check-in for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2
Early Morning Game Drive - Boat Cruise on the Nile
Prepare for an early start today, as the early morning hours are when wildlife is most active, the sun is not too harsh, and temperatures are cooler. After an early breakfast, embark on a game drive to explore the northern part of the park. This is the prime time for spotting African wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, various antelope species, and a plethora of tropical birds.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari along the Nile River to Murchison Falls. As you cruise, keep an eye out for crocodiles, numerous hippos, buffaloes, waterfowl, monkeys, and other thirsty wildlife that are drawn to the Nile's waters.

Following the boat trip, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Visit Top of the Falls - Transfer to Airport or Hotel
After enjoying breakfast, we will drive to the top of the Murchison Falls to fully appreciate the breathtaking beauty of this natural wonder. From this vantage point, you can witness the mighty Nile River as it forces its way through a narrow gorge, creating a spectacular waterfall.

Following this experience, we will start our return journey to either Kampala or Entebbe, depending on your arrangements. You will be dropped off at your pre-booked hotel or directly at Entebbe Airport if you have a departing flight.
