Boat diving is currently the main diving style practiced at diving spots around the world. Boat diving is also the main activity in Okinawa. The Kerama Islands are about 50 minutes by boat from Naha and are made up of over 20 large and small islands that are a dream destination for divers. The clarity and number of fish are much different from the main islands of Zamami, Aka, Geruma, and Tokashiki, and the main island of Okinawa, and there are nearly 100 diving spots around Kerama. There are many soothing spots, such as pure white sand, beautiful coral reefs, and schools of colorful small fish, and if you go out into the open ocean for a bit, you can see large migratory fish in dynamic terrain such as drop-offs, and there are many impressive spots. It is also a diving spot where you can experience the seasons, such as manta rays in the summer and humpback whales in the winter.
