Cloudbase Paragliding operate from the picturesque coastal village of Wilderness, on the Garden Route in South Africa. The high number of flyable days generate a lot of airtime, resulting in many happy pilots and passengers!
We are a fulltime school with two ‘A’ grade instructors, offering a full professional training courses and tandem flights. Enthusiasm and a passion for sharing the joy of free-flying, as well as ensuring the safety of our students are obvious requirements, we believe that our instructors all bring a little extra magic to our Cloudbase family.
Tuition offered includes entry-level introductory flights, basic license courses, upgrades to sports license, safety courses and PPG conversions.
We have established a reputation within the free flying environment, in South Africa and abroad, that is based on honesty, integrity and service excellence.
To fly as a tandem passenger, no previous experience is required – with our tandem flights, you just need to bring your sense of adventure, a pair of sturdy closed shoes, a long-sleeved top and some refreshments for afterwards.
