There are 12 habituated gorilla families in Volcanoes National Park making it the best gorilla trekking destination in the Virunga area.

Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda has one fully habituated gorilla family. Uganda gorilla trekking safaris to this park are very exclusive and remarkable.
