Floodgates Tours

At Floodgates Tours, we make sure that you create memorable travel experiences with us. We go by your budget and places of interest. In our office we also offer teas/coffee, chitenje(local African fabric) souvenirs and an art gallery. We are the only licensed tour operator in Zomba City. Our tours include; Chikala(malape) pillars day tour, Zomba plateau day hike tour, Camping on zomba mountain, Mulanje mountain day hikes, Sapitwa peak 3 day hike, Lake Malawi water sports and cruises, canoeing, Liwonde national park and Majet game reserve safari drives and water safaris.

We also do community work as such you can travel to take part to support community development . We can arrange activities for such including cultural village experiences. You can join the people in building houses, farming, traditional dances, cooking, village walks, tree planting and more.

Our art gallery has locally made crafts and our tailor makes custom design souvenirs. You can give us your design or you can buy from our ready-made souvenirs.
