Quality surfing instruction with the really experienced ever popular Ma Simes Surf School,. We are located at the fantastic Welsh surf beach – Whitesands Bay. A beautiful setting with great waves. Headed by co founder and lead instructor Nick Sime, Ma Simes Surf School has been teaching people to surf for over 35 years, so has a vast wealth of knowledge and experience.
Lessons run daily in season with sessions at 10am, 1pm and 4pm with combinations of beginners, improver and one 2 one lessons. You need to be over 8 years old and able to swim. All equipment is provided.
The aim is to not only teach students how to catch waves and stand up, but also educate on safety and environmental issues, plus recognition of sea conditions and identifying any potential dangers. Ma Simes Surf School is a dedicated, professional surf school that excels in quality and enthusiasm.
Nick says” Our main aim is to create fun but educate at the same time. Many people come off out lessons buzzing and smiling, with a new respect for the beauty of the sea and its environment. It’s a new style of liquid refreshment, but be warned – surfing is addictive!!”
