Makars campings are located by the river Gauja in Gauja national park. Boat tours start from few h to 7 day long. Exploring Gauja you can see many sand stone rocks. Tours take place everyday, departure from camping Siguldas Pludmale to Ligatne at 10:00, departure from Canoe camping in Ligatne to Cesis at 11:00. Boat tours should be booked by calling or email. Most beautiful places are between Cesis and Sigulda, this is 2 day tour, overnight you can choose to stay in private Canoe camping in Ligatne or Gauja national park watertoruist camp places which are without fee. If you wish to go only 1 day then reccomended route is Cesis- Ligatne, many beautiful sand stone rocks along the way, dostance is around 20 km, takes around 3-4h to do the tour. Longer one day tour is Ligatne-Sigulda, on this tour you will see sand stone rock at the beggining, closer to Sigulda you will see Turaida castle and Krimulda minor, also will go under the bridge where you might see cabe car and maybe even jumps from cable car. Finish is camping Siguldas pludmale where is the beach with volleyball
