The Tamarind Tree Hotel & Restaurant

The Tamarind Tree Hotel & Restaurant is ideally located in the center of dominica’s west coast on top of a 100-foot cliff, offering a beautiful view over the caribbean sea, the bay of salisbury and morne diablotin.

Roseau, the capital, is 12-miles/20 km to the south; portsmouth is 12-miles/20 km to the north, about a 30-minute drive each way. To canefield airport, north of roseau, it is a 20-minute drive and to melville hall airport in the northeast it is a 1 hour and 15-minute drive. The beach of macoucherie is a three-minute walk away and the beach of salisbury, to the village of salisbury, it is a 15-minute walk.

The pool is 4m x 8m and 1.20m to 1.70m deep. There is a shallow part for small children. Umbrellas, beach chairs and beach towels are provided.

The restaurant is an octagonal building, open on six sides, on the cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea. It comfortably seats 30 persons. The kitchen offers a wide range of local Creole as well as international dishes, appetizers, snacks, salads and desserts prepared with fresh local ingredients.
