The PADI Advanced Open Water Course in Belize comprises 5 adventure dives to expand your dive knowledge. The two mandatory specialty dives are the Underwater Navigation and Deep (60-100 ft/18-30 m) dives. You will then get the choice of three additional specialty dives including Fish ID, Peak Performance Buoyancy (recommended), Night, Search and Recovery, Computer and Boat.
Duration: Approx. 2-3 half days (8:30 – 2 pm).

Course Content
PADI Advanced Open Water Course in Belize: Itinerary
Day 1: meet your instructor and go through the plan for the course. Complete the first two adventure dives (usually peak performance buoyancy and navigation). After the dives, you will debrief on the day and go through the plan for the following day
Day 2: Meet at the dive shop at 8:15 am to go over the plan for the day. Practice any necessary skills on land and then head out to the reef to complete the next two adventure dives (usually deep dive and fish ID).
The night dive will be completed on either day, depending on the schedule and weather. You will discuss this with your instructor on the first day.
Complete the e-learning in your own time. There is no exam or videos for the AOW course with the focus being on enhancing your dive skills..
