Big climbs, big descents, and plenty of technical single track will keep the most avid mountain biker very happy. The trail surfaces are often formed from hard packed clay and are generally smooth and fast but will give way to the occasional rocky sections, or exposed tree roots to add a bit of extra excitement.

Passing through jungle, tea plantations, farms, and villages the Puncak track is generally classified as ‘All Mountain’ and provides numerous lines to choose from. And after some good steep ascents you will be rewarded with the kind of downhill runs that leave you smiling for hours.

Unless mud is your thing, Bandung mountain biking holidays in Indonesia would best be taken between June and September when days will mainly be sunny and dry with the temperature (wet and dry seasons), an almost constant 28ºC to 31 ºC year round.
