Guide to Moalboal scuba diving holidays

Moalboal scuba diving holidays in the Philippines offer some of the best diving in Asia and the world. You’ll see hawksbill and green sea turtles on nearly every dive. Luck divers will see the whale shark the biggest fish on the planet.  There are schools of fish so large they extend passed the 20 to 40 meters visibility.

Going in close you’ll find pipe fish, crabs and shrimp thriving on the corals. Shark spotters will not be disappointed with regular white tip shark sightings and thresher sharks resting on the sand or out for a hunt with their tail. There are fish species found only here and more unspoilt coral than you can shake a fin at!

Moalboal is a peninsula on the south western tip of the Island of Cebu. It is also the name of the local charismatic town that most divers stay in. It is often referred to as the gateway to the Visayas, and is home to some of the best dive sites the Philippines has to offer. You will find marine parks, vertical wall dives, offshore islands, caves,  fish sanctuaries, beautiful white sand beaches and of course lots of wildlife.
