About the Three Valleys
The Three Valleys (or Les 3 Vallées in French) is ski-heaven on repeat. 600 km of linked pistes, characterful resorts, and a lift network so slick it’s like freshly waxed skis on fresh corduroy.
From Courchevel glamour to Val Thorens altitude via Méribel’s legendary atmosphere. There is also the savayard charm of Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, family-friendly Les Menuires, spa-minded Brides-les-Bains and the Orelle backdoor into the 3V.

Lifts and Transport
Val Thorens – Cime Caron cable car returns with new cabins
The legendary ride to 3,200m is back with two brand-new cabins, restoring direct access from the resort to one of the Alps’ great viewpoints at the heart of Three Valleys. Pedestrians and skiers get the same big-summit smile.
Val Thorens – CARON 3200 high-altitude hangout
Opened last winter and already a crowd-pleaser: restaurant, wine bar, viewing deck with snack bar and an 80m² events and exhibition space. The highlight is stunning 360° views including Mont Blanc.
Méribel-Mottaret – Côte Brune becomes a 10-seat gondola
The classic 1991 chair is out; a modern gondola is in after a €25 million upgrade. Capacity nudges from 2,200 to 2,600 people per hour to speed the flow between Méribel, Val Thorens and Les Menuires. Opening December 2025.
Courchevel 1850 – New Chenus Gondola
After 55 years, the Chenus is reborn: 10-seat eco-designed cabins, a €20 million investment and capacity doubled from 1,200 to 2,400 skiers per hour. The base station shifts for smoother loading, while the top adds handy extras like a picnic room and public toilets. Opening December 2025.
Fresh places to Stay in Three Valleys
Saint-Martin-de-Belleville – Chalet Lenafaju
Carved into the hillside above the village, Chalet Lenafaju sleeps up to 14 across six bedrooms (nine beds, nine bathrooms) and brings spa-day vibes home with a private-terrace hot tub, sauna and gym.
Brides-les-Bains – B&B Home
The former Grand Hôtel des Thermes has a new life as B&B Home Brides-les-Bains 3 Vallées: open year-round, 102 contemporary rooms, covered walkway to the Thermal Spa, and the Olympe gondola just 250 m away for fast Méribel access.

Courchevel – Two Michelin stars for Thomas Prod’Homme at Baumanière 1850
Awarded last March, star number two celebrates cooking that’s precise, complex and generous, blending Mediterranean touches with local Savoyard flavour. Expect tables to be hot property this winter.
