Your adventure starts in the ocean side city of Campbell River, from here you will join our sister company Campbell River Whale Watching & Adventure tours as hosts on your full day wildlife adventure. The next day includes a scenic boat ride through the Discovery Passage up into the Johnstone Strait to Wildcoast Adventures Orca Camp where you will spend four days glamping and kayaking in killer whale territory with experienced and knowledgeable guides and excellent wilderness cooks. Fresh hearty and plentiful meals prepared daily will ensure that you are well fed and ready for the next adventure.

Itinerary

7-day BC Vancouver Island multi-activity holiday in Canada: Itinerary.

Day 1 – Check-in is 3:00pm. Arrive at your leisure and check in for your first two nights of the adventure. Take a leisurely drive to Campbell River or arrive early to explore or fit in an afternoon or early evening adventure. The choice is entirely yours.

Day 2 – Your First venture into the Wilderness on a motorized boat wildlife tour. Enjoy a continental breakfast before checking in for your wildlife tour. Guests arriving in June-August 22nd will enjoy a 6 hour wildlife tour. Guests arriving August 25th through September will enjoy a full day- grizzly bear wildlife tour.

Day 3 – Boat Ride to Orca Camp. After an early breakfast check in for your boat ride to Orca Camp stopping to enjoy sightings of marine wildlife along the way. Arriving at camp you will be given a tour of camp and settled into your safari tents. An afternoon kayak orientation prepares you for the first paddle.

Day 4 – A Full day of kayaking and exploring the coastline while listening for orca blows.

Day 5 – A full day of kayaking crossing the Johnstone Strait topped off with a native sauna and or wood-fired hot tub at the end of the day.

Day 6 – A chance for one last sunrise paddle, before hanging out at the beach ready for your boat ride back to Campbell River and your last night in the hotel.

Day 7 – Your adventure is coming to an end. But there will be time for a walk along the sea walk or some local shopping after breakfast before check out at 11:00am
