At Local Surf Maroc, we’re here to see you have the best time surfing in Morocco and get the most out of your surf lessons. The Surf Mentoring Experience is aimed at any surfer able to cruise the white wash to those who can catch green waves and looking to improve their skills and confidence. Our Surf Gurus will meet you where you’re at and, step by step, help you reach the next level of your surfing journey.

We keep our group sizes small to make sure abilities within the group don’t vary too much. This is so no one feels held back when they’re ready to progress or left behind if they need a bit more time mastering a skill. Small groups also let us create a surfing holiday experience that’s unique and unforgettable.

If you’re able to catch white wash consistently, our surf instructors will help you read the waves and where they break so you can master your turns. If you’re feeling ambitious, you’ll even paddle out to the green waves and give them a try. Able to catch green waves but struggling to be consistent? Looking to try out a different surf board but feel unsure which one to try?

Local Surf Maroc’s Surf Coaches are knowledgeable and will make the best suggestion for your surf ability, and maybe even suggest a challenge if you’re up for it! The Surf Coaches review surf conditions daily and on the spot to make sure the conditions are suitable for your progression as well. This might mean we suggest a different board to try or change the surf spot at the last second so you can get the most out of your surf sessions.

7-Day Intermediate Surf Adventure Holiday in Morocco: Itinerary

The description below is only a sample of what a day can look like during your week with us. Depending on wave and weather conditions they are subject to change:

07:30 - 08:30
While we don’t provide wake up calls, there’s also no need to set your alarm as the sun rises. You’ll know when it’s time to get up because you’ve had the most amazing, restful sleep. Your body will just know when it’s time to rise and shine.

08:30 - 09:30
Start your day on your accommodation\'s terrace overlooking Taghazout Bay and several of its surf spots. The terrace is a peaceful space to ease into the day, but from time to time sounds of everyday life will drift up to greet you.

09:30 - 10:00
Your Surf Guru will arrive and pack for the day. This will give you some time to change and pack a bag for the day (don’t forget your sunscreen!). Get ready to depart for the day’s surf adventure!

10:00 - 10:30
There are several surf spots to check out in Taghazout Bay before you make a decision on where to surf. Once you arrive at the surf spot, you’ll have time to get changed and make your way to the beach to start your surf lesson.

10:30 - 12:30
Time to learn! It might be a surprise, but we always start our lessons on the beach: we cover surf and water safety, along with the fundamentals of surfing. But don’t worry, you’ll still get to spend plenty of time in the water!

12:30 - 13:30
Time to take a break and grab a bite to eat: enjoy your lunch on the beach! As part of your surf experience, we provide a variety of lunches perfect for the surf life, but if you have a specific dietary requirement don’t forget to let us know!

13:30 - 16:00
After lunch you can decide how you’d like to spend the afternoon: back in the water, practicing what you learned in the morning or chilling on the beach, taking that all important siesta (but don’t forget the sunscreen!). Whatever you decide, your surf coach will be at hand.

16:30 - 17:00
Once you’ve had your fill of the sun, sand and sea for the day, it’s time to pack up and head back to your accommodation

19:30 - 20:30
After some downtime, it\'s time to eat and enjoy the last meal of the day. Once you\'ve had your fill your surf coach will come for a brief chat to review the footage or photos from the day. He\'ll discuss with you common mistakes and how to fix them, review your surf goal, and what the plan is for the next day. You\'ll get a link to your photos to keep.
