Itinerary for the Chitwan wildlife photography tour with luxury jeep safari in Nepal

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Welcome to Kathmandu home to God’s and Goddesses’ situated at the top of the world. You’ll be eagerly greeted upon your arrival and whisked off to your comfy hotel in the heart of the city. Kathmandu is yours to explore until the evening when you’ll join our experts for a luxurious banquet of typical Nepalese cuisine and discuss your upcoming adventure.

Day 2: Kathmandu - Flight to Bharatpur (25minutes) – Drive to Meghauli Chitwan (1.5 hours)
Today a scenic 25-minute flight will take you to Bharatpur. From here it will take approximately one and a half hours by car to reach Meghauli at Chitwan National Park which is one of Asia’s finest national parks. Based in the lowlands of south-central Nepal and covering an area of 932 sq. km, Chitwan is listed on UNESCO’s World Heritage site since 1984 and is renowned for its varied and populous wildlife. It is home to endangered species such as the Royal Bengal Tiger, the One-horned Rhinoceros, and the Leopard. Gaurs as well as Sloth Bears, Monkeys, and varieties of Deer, Crocodiles, and Butterflies all populate this area along with more than 530 species of colorful birds.

Day 3: Photography Safari
The array of activities offered in Chitwan will ensure that your time spent there will be action-packed. Some activities you can enjoy in this exotic jungle environment are Elephant briefing – learning about the largest land mammal; hiking – explore and see the lush green vegetation of this beautiful reserve; canoeing – a perfect way to explore the flora and fauna by gliding calmly on the water in a narrow single wood trunk boat; go on an elephant safari – a great way to explore the world’s tallest grasslands, and the safest way see a Royal Bengal Tiger; cultural program – immerse yourself in the Tharu tribe, the indigenous people of Chitwan; Bullock cart village tour – an absolutely addictive way to explore the region.

Day 4: Jeep Safari at Chitwan
Today you will continue your Wildlife Photography tour in a comfortable 4 to 5-hour Jeep safari. It will be a busy day spent capturing the abundant wildlife and picnicking in the deep jungle. Plan your trip to Chitwan around the rainy season that runs from June to September for the best odds of seeing the most elusive animals in the park.

Day 5: Meghauli (Chitwan) - Fly back to Kathmandu 30minutes- Kathmandu Durbar Square tour Local market-Farewell Dinner
Today your Chitwan Jungle adventure comes to an end, with a relaxed morning before flying back to Kathmandu that afternoon. Upon your arrival, you will be taken to your hotel, where you can rest for a while. Later that afternoon, we’ll take you to visit Kathmandu Durbar Square to meet the Living Goddess Kumari and be blessed and take advantage of the vibrant local markets for some last shots before an evening of traditional Nepalese cultural program and dinner to conclude your trip.

Day 6: The Majestic Himalaya – A deity itself in the Hindu Pantheon
There is a saying in Nepal, it’s never goodbye only we’ll meet again. Today we will send you on your way home, hoping to meet again, and even if it’s only in your dreams of this beautiful land, captivating culture, and warm and welcoming people we will have succeeded in our goal of sharing our small nation.
