The Everest Base Camp wedding trekking holiday begins from the tiny airstrip of Lukla. It then goes through alluring forest and fields before climbing up to the heavily populated Sherpa villages – Namche Bazaar and Khumjung. Everest Base Camp Wedding Trek provides wonderful memories of your foothill journey through these Sherpa valleys. Exploration of Sherpa lifestyle and culture, chhortens, and mani walls increases the charm of the trek. You will also pass by a number of Tibetan Buddhist monasteries. You will receive blessings at the monasteries while experiencing the Sherpa hospitality. You proceed to the Everest base camp, where your wedding takes place. The wedding duration will be short and sweet, though you will have plenty of time to take photos. Trekking is possible throughout the year, but Spring (March-May) and Autumn (September to November) provide the best weather. During the Spring, there is a bit more color and the rhododendrons are blooming, but in the Autumn months, the skies are generally clearer.
