Day 1 Arrival in Accra
Upon arrival at Kotoka International Airport, your tour guide will warmly welcome you and facilitate the clearance procedures. Subsequently, you'll be escorted to your accommodation, the Accra City Hotel or a similar establishment, where you can relax and recuperate from your journey. Following a brief orientation session with your guide to outline the upcoming itinerary, Enjoy a delicious dinner with Ghanaian dishes. Relax and get ready for tomorrow's adventures.

Day 2 Accra City Tour

Today, after breakfast, your tour guide will accompany you on a city tour of Accra. Begin at Independence Square, a symbol of Ghana's freedom from colonial rule. Then, explore Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, dedicated to Ghana's first president and a pivotal figure in the country's independence movement. Next, delve into the history of Old Accra town, formerly known as James Town, a vibrant neighbourhood filled with historical landmarks and cultural significance. Finally, visit the National Museum, home to a diverse collection showcasing Ghana's rich cultural heritage, from ancient artefacts to contemporary art pieces. Each of these sites offers a glimpse into Ghana's past and its journey to the present day. Day 3 Kakum National park
On this day, we'll embark on a trip to Kakum National Park right after breakfast. The journey, lasting approximately 3 hours and 55 minutes by road, offers glimpses of notable landmarks in Accra, setting the tone for the adventure ahead. Upon arrival at Kakum National Park, with the assistance of the tour guide and expertise you will dwell in the lush tropical rainforest and marvel at the canopy walkway, suspended 40 meters above the forest floor. After, you will continue by visiting the colourful birds in their Natural habitat and listening to their melodic calls while exploring the forest trails. Also, The park offers educational programs and exhibits aimed at raising awareness about rainforest conservation and the importance of biodiversity. As the day comes to an end, we will park some few items which we brought, sit in the car and spend the nights in one of the luxury hotels( coconut groove) in Cape Coast. Eats some delicious meals and rest for tomorrow.

Day 4 Cape caost and Elmina
Following your trip to Kakum, right after morning breakfast, we will drive to Cape Coast to visit the Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site and former slave trading centre. The Cape Coast Castle stands as a sombre yet poignant reminder of a dark chapter in human history. Constructed by European colonial powers, notably the Portuguese in the 16th century and later expanded by the British, the castle served as a significant hub for the transatlantic slave trade. Inside the castle, your tour guide will give you an insight into its dark history, exploring the dungeons, slave quarters, and other areas where the atrocities of the past took place. Additionally, you get to see and witness some of the historic names like the ‘THE DOOR OF NO RETURN’ and the ‘GATE OF RETURN’ Where the slaveries went through and never returned to date. Is shed tears for all those who came to witness. In the evening, we will return to our hotel which is filled with many history and experiences to reflect on. Day 5 Kumasi
On this day, after enjoying a hearty breakfast, we embark on a journey to Kumasi, the vibrant cultural capital of Ghana. The road stretches ahead of us, promising a journey of approximately 3 to 6 hours, filled with scenic landscapes and cultural insights. Our first stop upon reaching Kumasi will be the magnificent Manhyia Palace Museum, a place where history comes alive. Once the seat of the Ashanti Empire, this palace offers a fascinating glimpse into the rich heritage and traditions of the Ashanti people. Walking through its halls, adorned with relics and artefacts, we immerse ourselves in centuries of royal history and tradition. Next on our itinerary is the bustling Kejetia Market, a vibrant hub of commerce and culture. As one of the largest markets in West Africa, we will indulge in some foodstuff and taste some local Ghanaian drinks like Hasaana, Pito and many others.
Meanwhile, in Adanwomase as we delve deeper into the weaving tradition, gaining insights into the symbolism and techniques passed down through generations. As the day draws to a close, we reflect on the wealth of experiences and insights gained during our exploration of Kumasi and its surrounding communities. Day 6 Ashanti Region Tour

After a satisfying morning breakfast, we embark on a captivating tour of the Ashanti Region, beginning with the enchanting craft villages that showcase Ghana's rich artistic heritage. We head straight to Bonwire, famous for its amazing kente weaving. You won't believe your eyes watching these artisans work their magic, skillfully handling vibrant threads to craft those stunning kente patterns. The sound of looms fills the air, and it's like music to the ears. As we watch, they share the stories behind each design, giving us a whole new understanding of the significance behind this beloved Ghanaian art form.
Continuing our journey, we venture to Ahwiaa, a village celebrated for its exquisite wood carving. Walking through the bustling streets, we encounter artisans meticulously carving intricate sculptures and intricate masks from local hardwoods. Engaging with these master craftsmen, we discover the stories behind each piece, learning about the cultural significance of wood carving in Ashanti society.
Our final stop takes us to Ntonso, where the ancient art of Adinkra textile printing thrives. After breakfast, we embark on our journey to explore the pot-making centers nestled within the Volta Region. Our first stop is at local pot-making workshops, where skilled artisans showcase traditional pottery techniques, molding clay into beautifully crafted pots and clay products. As we observe the intricate process, our knowledgeable tour guides provide insights into the cultural significance of pottery in Ghanaian society.
Following our immersive experience, we delight in a traditional Ghanaian lunch, savoring the authentic flavors of the region.

Day 9 Day 9: Exploring Ada and Its Scenic Boat Ride

On this day, after a delightful morning breakfast at 9 am, we set out to explore more of the enchanting Volta Region before reaching Ada. Our first option is to visit the majestic Wli Waterfalls, where cascading waters plunge into a lush tropical forest, creating a mesmerizing spectacle of nature. Alternatively, we can opt to visit the Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary, home to playful and curious monkeys living in harmony with the local community.
As we reach Ada, we immerse ourselves in the vibrant fishing communities, witnessing the bustling activity of local fishermen and learning about their traditional fishing culture.
Returning to our accommodation, we take time to relax and unwind after our boat ride, rejuvenating ourselves for the adventures that lie ahead. In the evening, we treat ourselves to a sumptuous traditional Ghanaian dinner in the Volta Serene Hotel. Rest as you reflect on the journey so far.
