To begin our 2-day trip, we’ll pick you up in Rovaniemi and will drive you up North to Inari and Saariselkä. On the way to explore Lappish nature and Sami culture in Inari, we will have a short stop in Saariselkä, where you can experience hiking in beautiful Finnish forests and enjoy Midnight Sun from the top hill! Spend a night in a traditional wooden cabin surrounded by trees and complete silence. After that, we will go to learn more about indigenous Finno-Ugric people, known around the world as Sami!

Itinerary for 2 day Summer Lapland hiking and culture tour of Saariselkä and Inari
Day 1 : Saariselkä
Take the chance to visit Saariselkä, once an important enclave for gold mining, is today a beautiful refuge of civilization between two of the wildest natural parks in Europe. It offers a multitude of outdoor activities and houses an enviable ski resort.
Once we will arive there, join the tour to try authentic way to go hiking on rolling to steep hills. The expert guide will guide you through beautiful Arctic forest, where you will experience berry and mushroom picking . Even for little kids and for non-sporting people it is a joyful experience.
Embark on an unforgettable hiking journey into the forest in the Arctic Circle, where you will pass through amazing nature trails between woods. Also, a forest campfire BBQ will be provided with warm tea.
By the end of the day, we will enjoy beautiful Midnight Sun from the top hill.
Day 2 : Inari
Today we will travel to the capital Sami, Inari. One of the northernmost points of Finland is home to the Sami culture, the last indigenous people in Europe. Despite preserving their traditional way of life, based on reindeer husbandry, they are a modern and hospitable town. In Inari we will visit the impressive Sami museum.
