If you’re planning snowboarding holidays in 2015, then you can’t afford to miss this year’s Telegraph Ski and Snowboard Show. It’s your chance to find out what’s going on in the sports, in terms of resorts, operators and the latest equipment.
This year’s show is taking place at two venues: EventCity, Manchester from 24 to 26 October; and Earls Court, London from 30 October to 2 November. Three days of exhibits, demonstrations, promotions, information and even your chance to try a few new innovations. It really will be ‘bringing the mountains’ to the UK.
Planning snowboarding holidays in 2015
The shows aim to have something for everybody, whether you’re a seasoned pro or an absolute beginner. That’s why it’s such a must-visit event. Beginners can learn more about suitable resorts, tours and packages. While more advanced snowboarders and skiers can get a glimpse of the latest kit to hit the slopes in the coming season. Plus, with freestyle demonstrations, fashions shows, lessons and even a chance to sample some après lifestyle, it’s almost a mini boarding break in itself.
With over 250 top brands, tour operators and even a few Olympic athletes to chat and listen to, it could be invaluable to your snowboard and ski experience. And what better way to kickstart your season?
Exhibits and events
Specific events and exhibits at this year’s show include a focus on the Austrian Tirol, where you’ll be able to browse and learn more about the resorts in this iconic ski and snowboard area. Find out more about Kitzbühel, Arlberg and Zillertal. The USA Pavilion also gives you a chance to check out the unique terrain, legendary resorts and colossal snowfall they’re known for Stateside. As well as all this, there’s a French Pavilion and Norway Resorts Bar where you can get face-to-face advice.

The latest gear and lessons
Discover new brands in the Start-Up Village. Or pick your jaw off the floor at the Rail Jam as you watch some of the UK’s finest riders showing off their skills (check out www.skiandsnowboard.co.uk for a full line-up announcement). You can even sign up for some freestyle snowboard lessons yourself, and learn from the best before planning snowboarding holidays in 2015.
There’s plenty for the little ones too. With a giant slide and Burton Riglet Park, it’s a great way to get kids into snowboarding before your holiday.
Après Ski and Snowboard Show
If learning about the latest gear and best destinations is not enough then perhaps attend the legendary Three Valleys after party – this year called ‘God Save The Snow’. It is being held on Thursday 30th October 2014 at Broadway Bar and Grill in Fulham, advance tickets cost just £10 (£15 on the door).
Tickets include a free welcome drink, a Three Valleys goody, a souvenir photo and entry to a prize draw to win a holiday to (you guessed it) the Three Valleys. Come in your best après gear and enjoy classic Alpine entertainment by the likes of Folie Douce. Advance tickets are available from Event Brite.
So, if you’re planning snowboarding holidays in 2015, come along to The Telegraph Ski and Snowboard Show to be inspired, meet the resorts and tour operators. Even if you don’t plan to book until much later it will help you to plan your ideal snowboarding holiday.
