Babu III is a 26′ center console catamaran, and we offer 4 to 10 hour fishing trips for everything from fluke in the bay to shark in the offshore grounds. All bait, tackle, and permits are included in the price for up to six people.
Our bay trips are usually four to six hours where we will be catching fluke, sea bass, and striper depending on the season.
Babu Sport Fishing Charters ocean trips could be wreck fishing for sea bass, tautog, fluke, and/or trigger fish, and are usually four, six or eight hours. On our trolling inshore trips (less than 20 miles offshore) we are targeting striped bass, bluefish, mahi-mahi, and/or Spanish mackerel as our quarry.
Our offshore trips are beyond twenty miles offshore, but less than fifty miles. On these trips which are eight to ten hours, we are targeting shark or tuna. We also usually have Mahi-mahi, and sometimes wahoo on these trips.
The boat is powered by twin 150 HP outboards. Babu III cruises the ocean at 24knots weather permitting, and top speed is 35knots. She is equipped with VHF radios, GPS, charter plotters, depth/ fish finder sounders, and a porta-pot inside the console.
