The exciting Manaslu Circuit Trekking holiday takes 24 days to complete and you start at Kathmandu. Here, you will obtain the permits for the trek and tour the city as well. You visit Swayambhunath Temple, Patan and Kathmandu Durbar Squares, Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa. Then you head to Arughat via Prithvi Highway. From there you drive to Soti Khola and start your trek to Machha Khola.
You trek through the alluring hill landscapes and pass by villages like Tatopani, Dobhan, Philim, and Chumling. From Chumling you head to the Nile via Chhokang Paro. One day is separated to explore the Nile as it has rich history and culture. There you visit Mu Gompa to know more about the local culture and Buddhism. Then you head to Gumba Langdang, another historic monastery of this region. Then you head to Sama Gaon via Lokpa, Namrung, and Lho.
From Sama Gaon, you hike to Manaslu Base Camp and Pung Gyen Gompa. From Sama Gaon, you head to Samdo and descend to Gho via Dharamsala and Bimthang. From Gho you head to Dharapani, which lies in the Annapurna Circuit. From there you head back to Kathmandu via Prithvi Highway. The best time to do this trek is March-May and September-December. Some parts of the trek may get difficult for beginners so it is recommended for you to have prior trekking experience.
