Why jump at Skydive the Wasatch? For two main reasons: Gorgeous views and an authentic community spirit. The ride to altitude skims the snow-capped all-season playground of the Wasatch Front, providing every skydive with a postcard backdrop for an incredible scenic skydive in Utah.

The DZ is Utah’s newest (and one of its smallest), founded as a community hub for local jumpers, so the tandem masters’ bedside manner is predictably personal.

Experienced-jumper friendly?

Yes. Skydive the Wasatch was founded by a young, ex-military skydiver who wanted to provide his skydiving buddies a friendly place to jump. So the sense of family is palpable, for new and returning jumpers alike. Important note: since the DZ is small, rentals are in short supply, so sport skydivers need to bring their own equipment.

Getting a deal

Skydive the Wasatch runs occasional specials on its Facebook page. It does a brisk business in bulk tandem skydiving deals for local church groups and for the scores of university student associations in the Salt Lake and Provo areas.

As the editor of British Skydiving, Annette is a mainstay of the skydive community.
