Tamarindo Diving offers scuba diving and snorkeling tours and scuba diving certification courses (SDI and PADI). We are located in the town of Tamarindo, Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica.
With an amazing marine life, Catalina’s Archipelago is the destination of all our snorkeling and scuba diving expeditions. We reach the archipelago after 45 minutes of navigation. The boat trip is extremely pleasant and many times we detect dolphins, humpback whales with their babies, and turtles mating. Under the water, life is even more amazing. White tip reef sharks are the kings of the archipelago, but when in season, their crown is stolen by the giant manta ray. Many schools of tropical-colored fish are easy to identify as well as schools of tuna, devil rays, octopuses, eels, and many more. Both our scuba diving and snorkeling tours leave at 7 a.m. and we are back around noon. Most of the time snorkelers and divers share the same boat and locations. Our snorkeling guides, dive masters, and dive instructors are professionals in the sector. They are knowledgeable and have safety as their priority. We also offer programs for non-certified people willing to try the thrill of scuba diving.
