The Ark Divers Adventure&Scuba Lodge is located in Pixvae, a small artisanal fishing village on the Pacific coast, only 25 minutes away from Coiba National Park and the pinnacles of Contreras islands. Our location gives us the chance to dive in places not many dive.
Our focus on safety has made Pixvae the best location choice for our operation, offering 3 dives per day, always close to shore. Fully equipped with safety first aid kit, emergency oxygen and vhf Radio, all our Dive guides are certified first and second responders. We also have access to a Decompression Chamber in Panama city, 45 minutes away by helicopter. Our equipment Xdeep (wing type) is new and very well serviced.
In order to provide the most professional and exclusive service we do not exceed group sizes of 4 Divers. If a special request comes in we can make that 5.

Coiba National Park and surroundings, by Boat:
Duration: all day
Inclusion: fruits, snacks, water and lunch picnic style
1. Scuba diving
Up to 3 immersions, including tank, weights, full professional equipment XDEEP wings (+$10/day Dive computer), PADI experienced guide. All surfaces intervals at the beach.
2. Snorkeling
Up to 3 immersions, including equipment and local guide. All surfaces intervals at the beach.
3. Explore Coiba and surroundings
Go on a hike to a viewpoint with a local guide, look for monkeys and endemic birds and enjoy some time at the beach.
Pixvae and surroundings, without Boat:
Duration: variable
Inclusion: fruits, snacks, water and lunch picnic style
Some activities from this section can be combined together on the same day.
4. Kayaking
Take a journey in the bay of Pixvae or Rosario on your single kayak, exploring along the Pacific coast or in the mangroves labyrinths of Pixvae.
5. Artisanal fishing on kayak
Catch your own dinner directly from your kayak. We\’ll cook it for you!
6. Horseback riding
Go for a ride in the jungle of Pixvae or up on the Cordillera for a view of the ocean from the Mountains. (For experienced riders only)
7. Trekking or Jungle walk
Choose from many different types of walks or trekking available in the area. From short easy walks to harder and longer treks.
8. Nature photography
Take the time on this excursion to immerse yourself in nature on the look out for wildlife and great shots.
9. Beach day
Enjoy our facilities at Rosario Bay, reading in a hammock, walking on the beach or relaxing near a fresh water source.
