Guide to United States kiteboarding holidays

A United States kitesurfing holiday can offer you various locations in different environments to ride in. The size of America means that different spots are available throughout the year. There are some year round destinations such as Florida Keys, California and Hawaii but you will probably want to wait until the summer months if you want to kitesurf in the North US states.

All the way up the east coast you will find good United States kitesurfing locations. Cape Hatteras is probably one of the most famous with the REAL kiteboarding store holding the Triple S invitational event every year. This location offers it all from Flat water riding in the mangroves, kickers, sliders and waves on the outer banks. New York also has some good riding and also has a few kite schools. It is well worth looking at a kitesurf and shopping trip for couples.

Off the west coast the tropical island of Hawaii is an obvious location. With years of watersports history behind it you will never be too far away from the scene. The consistent wind here is what brings people to these islands. It is also the reason why many of the kitesurfing manufacturers have their offices here or travel here for product testing.

Accommodation across USA is of a good standard. Plus there are a multitude of  restaurants and cafés which are available at reasonable prices. It is well worth looking at fly and drive holiday so that you can explore this expansive country yourself to find the best United States kitesurfing spots.
