Red Nose day saw a team of 9 celebrities lead up Kilimanjaro by a 60 year old expedition leader from Devon. It took careful planning & organisation for an overall group of 180 people, which includes the numerous support-staff to ascend the Mountain in the less weather friendly months. Not to mention the number of difficulties they faced en route.
However all credit to Mr Ganes’ tenacity helping to raise 1.4 million to charity and successfully leading the large team to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro and back down to safety.
