5-day ultimate Kenya private safari holiday, itinerary:

Day 1
Nairobi- Amboseli National Park
You'll be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or airport in the morning and driven to Amboseli National Park, which is less than a 5-hour drive. It is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape and open plains. Amboseli is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here, ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli to wetlands with sulfur springs, the savannah, and woodlands. You'll be arriving with a game drive and proceed to your lodge. You'll check into your lodge, have lunch, and have a short rest. You'll enjoy afternoon game drives at the park later till the African sunset.

Your dinner and overnight stay are at the lodge.

Day 2
Amboseli National Park - Lake Nakuru National Park
You will have an early morning breakfast. After breakfast, you'll have a game drive en route. You will leave Amboseli for Lake Nakuru. There will be a stop to view the incredible Rift Valley scenery as you proceed to Nakuru. You will arrive in time for lunch, and check in at the hotel. Later in the afternoon, you will enjoy game drives in Lake Nakuru National Park.

Lake Nakuru National Park boasts an abundance of wildlife and spectacular landscapes. Think of black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hippos occupying euphorbia forests, acacia woodlands, savannah grasslands, and rocky escarpments around a shallow, alkaline lake. The park delivers some of the best wildlife viewings in Kenya. In Lake Nakuru, you will have the opportunity to meet the Rothchild's giraffes, a rare and endangered species introduced to the park in 1997.

Later, you'll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara National Reserve
You will have an early morning breakfast. After breakfast, you'll leave Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara, a 5-hour drive. You will pass through Narok town, a famous Maasai town as you proceed to Masai Mara. You will arrive in time for lunch and check in at the top-rated boutique camp Mara Duma Camp. In the afternoon, you'll embark on a game drive at the Masai Mara. The Masai Mara National Reserve features a stunning kaleidoscope of wild and rugged landscapes, warm and welcoming people, and an exciting array of big or small creatures. The reserve is famous for hosting the Great Wildebeest Migration. The reserve welcomes over 1.5 million wildebeests onto its sprawling savannahs each July through October.

Later, you will return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay after an African sunset.

Day 4
Masai Mara National Reserve
You will enjoy an early breakfast, followed by a full day in the park with a picnic lunch break out in the wild. The Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during the migration season from early July to the end of September. Zebras, impalas, topis, giraffes, Thomson gazelles, as well as leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, and bat-eared foxes. Black rhinos are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance if you are lucky. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River, as are enormous Nile crocodiles, who lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures.

Later, you will return to the camp in the evening for an arranged bush nature walk with an experienced and knowledgeable guide in a wildlife conservation area. You'll get to see the animals and plants of the region up close and learn about their habits and behaviors.

Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5
Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi
After a relaxed breakfast and check-out, the guide will take you to Maasai village, where you will interact with the local people and buy souvenirs. You will then enjoy the road trip to Nairobi with lunch at Narok town. You should be in Nairobi at around 4:00 p.m. Drop off at your hotel or free onward transfer to the airport for your flight home.
