Itinerary for the Tsum Valley trekking holiday in Nepal:

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Maccha Khola (930m)
Early in the day, you\'ll have breakfast at Kathmandu\'s hotel. Your jeep will await you when you drive towards Maccha Khola. The drive first heads west towards the Prithivi highway and then towards Arughat Bazar from Galcchi. Covering approximately 160 km from Kathmandu, the drive ends at Maccha Khola. The driving generally takes 6-7 hours, with a scenic drive. Overnight at Maccha Khola.

Day 2: Trek to Jagat (1410m)
After a pleasant night at Jagat, you\'ll have a tasty morning meal with the beauty of nature. Trekkers start heading towards Hulchuk by crossing a suspension bridge. By passing another suspension bridge at Yuru Khola and nearby the Jagat, trekkers get to Jagat by walking stone-paved trails. Jagat is a beautiful village with stunning landscapes, terraced fields, and views of the surrounding mountains. The MCAP office and Customs office are in Jagat. Trekking includes 5 hours. Overnight at Jagat.

Day 3: Trek to Lakuwa (2240m)
After showing the necessary permits at the MCAP office, trekkers move towards Lakuwa. Crossing a suspension bridge from Jagat, trekkers get to Salleri village and, from there, get a pleasant view of Mount Shringi(7155m). By exploring Mani walls during the trail, trekkers get to Nagjet and take an alternative route towards Philim by crossing a suspension bridge. Philim is a checkpost and MCAP visitor center. Trekkers get to Lakuwa after traveling through some villages and suspension bridges. 6-7 hours from Jagat takes you to Lakuwa. Overnight at Lakuwa.

Day 4: Trek to Chumling ( 2600m)
With a companion of the Manaslu range, trekkers make their way towards Chumling. After a 4-5 hour trek, trekkers cross several Syar Khola (River) suspension bridges and arrive at Chumling. Chumling Village is rich in culture, history, and architecture. The traditional stone houses and wooden carved windows showcase the area\'s architectural richness. The ancient Gonpas with prayer flags showcases the town\'s Buddhist cultural significance. Overnight at Chumling.

Day 5: Trek to Rachen Gompa (3240m)
Getting closer to the final destination, hikers start trekking for Rachen Gompa from Chumling Village. The journey from Chumling to Rachen Gompa takes you through a pleasing landscape of the region. The trail includes ascends and descends; some segments include walking alongside the river and passing through forests and open landscapes. Yarju, Tumje/Dumje, Chhokung Par, Nakyu, and Lamagoan are the charming villages before reaching Rachen Gompa. Getting to Rachen Gompa takes 5 hours. Overnight at Rachen Gompa.

Day 6: Trek to Mu Gompa ( 3700m)
Day sixth is a memorable day, as on this day, trekkers get to the final destination of the trek. Having breakfast at Rachen Gompa, you\'ll walk towards Mu Gompa. Exploring through Milarepa Gumba, Milarepa Piren Phu Cave, and Chi Phu Cave, hikers succeed at Phurbe. Passing through homestays, Mani walls, Gumbas, and suspension bridges, the journey gets to the destination in 5 hours of trekking. During the trek, trekkers experience the unique Tibetan-influenced culture of the Tsum Valley. At the highest elevation, trekkers must remember to walk slowly, rest occasionally, and listen to their bodies during the trek. If trekkers have an altitude-related problem, consider resting or descending overnight at Mu Gompa.

Day 7: Rest day in Mu Gumba
The seventh day of the trek in Tsum Valley is a rest day. The day gives the trekker\'s body time to adjust to the changed temperature. Also, trekkers get opportunities to interact with locals on this rest day. On the day, trekkers visit the areas and monasteries of the region. Trekkers can experience the spiritual atmosphere and learn about Tibetan Buddhist culture on the rest day. Overnight at Mu Gumba.

Day 8: Trek to Rachen Gompa (3240m) via Chhule (3400m)
After spending a beautiful time at Mu Gumba you\'ll start the descent towards Rachen Gompa. The trail from Mu Gumba to Rachem is familiar to you as you have already passed through that place. Trekkers get to Rachen by visiting different monasteries, Mani walls, and some homestays during the trail. Before reaching Rachen Gompa, cross several suspension bridges at the Nile, Chule, and Phurba. Breakfast point is at Mu Gumba, and lunch is at Chule. The descent from Mu Gumba to Rachen Gompa takes 5 hours. Overnight at Rachen Gompa.

Day 9: Trek to Gumba Lungdang (3200m)
Early in the morning, you\'ll move towards Gumba Lundgang, a village rich in culture and heritage. You\'ll start descending towards the day\'s destination with the morning meal at Rachen Gompa. Passing through Nakyu and Chhokung Paro, trekkers get to Tumje/Dumje. From Tumje/Dumje, heading towards Chamari Kharka, hikers reach Gumba Lundgnag. Reaching Gumba Lungdang provides feelings of accomplishment with the view of the Ganesh ranges. Ganesh I, Ganesh II, Voke Peak, and Ganesh IV are visible from the Gumba Lungdang. Overnight at Gumba Lungdang.

Day 10: Trek to Ripche (2470m)
By appreciating the beauty of Gumba Lungdang with your morning meal, you\'ll make your way towards Ripche. Trekkers return to Tumje/Dumje, cross a suspension bridge, and reach Ripche. Along the way, monasteries and the beauty of nature will accompany you. You\'ll get to Ripche in the evening. Overnight at Ripche.

Day 11: Trek to Philim (1590m)
As you\'re on the returning journey, you\'ll start descending towards Philim on the eleventh day of the trek. After enjoying the beauty of Lakuwa and Ekle Bhatti, you\'ll get to Philim for an overnight stay. After 5 hours of easy descent, you\'ll have a pleasant night at Philim.

Day 12: Trek to Khorla Besi (970m)
After a delicious breakfast at Philim, trekkers continue descending towards Khorla Besi. Following the Budhi Gandaki, trekkers pass several suspension bridges to reach Khorla Besi. Although the trail is easy, the distances are long, so rest is necessary. Overnight at Khorla Besi.

Day 13: Trek to Soti Khola (730m)
Soti Khola is the last trekking destination after returning from the Tsum Valley trek. After breakfast, trekkers descend to Machha Khola Gaon by crossing a suspension bridge. Following Budhi Gandaki riverside, they will reach Lapubesi from Macchakhola and the day\'s stoppoint, Soti Khola. Overnight at Soti Khola.

Day 14: Drive to Kathmandu (1300m)
With creating an unforgettable journey at Tsum Valley trek, you\'ll drive back to Kathmandu after your breakfast at Soti Khola. Trekkers return from the same road they have taken while they take the going time at Tsum Valley. Before reaching Arughat, the road\'s condition is off-road, and from Arughat to Galchi, there is a paved road. From Galchhi to Kathmandu, the road condition is good with blacktop.
