The North Island is more populated than the South Island of New Zealand however a North Island Overland holiday will still find you in plenty of remote locations in the great outdoors. From the bustle (by NZ standards!) of Auckland to the beautiful beaches of the Coromandel and Bay of Islands and from the trekking, rafting and skydiving in Taupo to the hot springs and Maori culture of Rotorua, Overlanding in the North Island of NZ will keep you entertained.
