Day 01:Arrive at Kathmandu (1340M)
Our representative welcomes you at Kathmandu airport and helps you check the intact o Hotel heart of Kathmandu. Today we will have rest in the hotel to recover from our jet lag and freshen up. Accommodation: 3-Star Hotel Meal: No
Day 02:Full day Kathmandu city tour
Kathmandu city is ranked as 19 the best tourist destination by TripAdvisor, also known as the city of Temple and, it houses seven UNESCO listed heritage, diverse culture that exhibits varieties of ancient as well as modern culture. Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur Durbar (royal palace) Squares, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Syambhunath (Monkey Temple), Golden Temple, Chagunayaran and other temples and Stupa are the major attraction of Kathmandu. Pashupatinath situated on the bank of the Bagmati River is a holy pilgrimage of Hindus and Syambhunath is jam-packed with Buddhist pilgrimages and the people as this hilltop provides a beautiful view of Kathmandu valley. Day 03:Flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. Trek to Phadking (2700m)
A (40 Min) forty minutes short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla airport offers the beautiful scenery of mountain picks that is a foretaste of what you will see while trekking as it flies over the snow-covered peaks and green valleys. Our crew members will welcome you to Lukla Airport, make better preparation and the trek start from there. We walk on the route that goes downhill to Cheplung village, a perfect place to enjoy the majestic view of a sacred peak Mt. Day 04:Phadking to Namche Bazaar (3420m)
Walking upward with the soothing sound of pine forest, alongside Dudh Koshi River, the trail goes up to beautiful Benker Valley, which is famous for its Chumoa agriculture farm. After Chumoa we ascend to Monjo village, a gateway to Sagarmatha National Park (1,148 sq km, established in 1976). Taking our way up via the banks of Bhote Koshi and Dudh Koshi rivers we reach Jorsale village. Uphill trek along a steep slope route with a view of Mt. Everest and the range of Nuptse reaches the entrance of Namche Bazaar, a scenic town at a higher altitude for an overnight stay. Accommodation: Guest House Meal: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 05:Acclimatization in Namche (3420)
In Namche Bazaar we can enjoy city life to some extent as it houses ATM booths, furnished hotels, restaurants and tea/coffee houses and, we can indulge maples of tourist activities to seize the moment. Hiking to Everest View hotel is mostly chosen option where we can enjoy cool and cloudless sunrise over the mountain peaks like Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Konde and others. If it interests you, you can trek to Khumjung Village to observe the monastery that has an ostensible Yeti scalp and the school built by Sir Edmund Hillary's Himalayan Trust. Day 06:Namche to Tengboche (3850m)
Departing from Namche the trial goes to Phunkig then walking uphill and downhill for two hours to Tengboche village, which is well known for the historic Tengboche monastery, one of the ancient monasteries in the Everest region. Tengboche monastery, situated in Sagarmatha National Park is a holy place for the Sherpa people who follow Buddhism, and a vantage point for the panoramic sight of the Himalayas, like Mt.Everest Nuptse, Lhotse Thamskru and Ama Dablam. Day 07:Tengboche to Pheriche (4240m) /Dingboche (4350m)
This is the day when you stride through the forest with rhododendron flowers of various colours, Himalayan shrubs and herbs along with the twittering sound of birds of several spices. Captivating views of Mt. Everest and the neighbouring Himalayas boost your energy. A short descent walk leads us to Debuche and then, we walk uphill over beautifully sculpted stones towards Imja River. After crossing the Imja River, we hike to Pangboche where we can visit the Pangboche monastery. Taking down the road via green terrains flecked with grazing animals, we reach Orsho. From Orsho the trails bisect Dingboche or Pheriche. Walking across Imja Valley and Lobuche River we reach Dingboche. But if we walk up the hill above Pheriche - there is a spot at about 5,100m that has stunning views of the valleys and Ama Dablam and this place offers more accommodation and health posts. Day 08:Acclimatization day
The biodiversity of Dingboche is a little barren and more greyish than other places that we walked over. A day break in Dingboche consists of an alluring view of Lothse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Cholaste and Taboche. Amazing Sunrise from teahouses, visiting Buddhist Stupa and assimilation with local people are the main leisure activities in Dingboche. Day 09:Pheriche/Dingboche to Lobuche (4930m)
Today we start our journey amid the Himalayas as if we are surrounded by Himalayans in every direction. From now the routes seem narrower and slope until we reach Dusa where we visit Campsite that was used during the first successful Everest Expedition in1953. While walking slowly uphill, we see Mt.Pumari in front of the view, but when we move ahead, after some time we leave Mt. Pumori behind us. After crossing the small stream we begin to soar to the sharp deadly glacial deposit of Khumbu Glacier and then to the Chumped Lahara via rough road with boulders scattered all over. Chupka Lahara is an edge with a mesmeric view of Mt.Everest. Descending steps to Khumu Glacier provide us with a captivating facing view of Mahalangur Himal, Khumbuste, Lintren and Pumori, and finally, we stretch our legs in Lobuche from where we see Mt.Nuptse. Day 10:Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5160m)
Lobuche to Gorak Shep is a very short upward trek that offers a grandiose view of Mt. Pumori. We walk on the glacier route for a while and in the afternoon we reach Gorak Shep. Day 11:Site trip to Kalapatthar and Everest Base Camp
Today we eat breakfast early in the morning and hike up to Kala Patthar. The trail is steep with a lot of rough rocks and the weather is cold with a fairly strong wind blowing. The spectacular view of Changtse, Khumbuste, and Lingtren snow peaks gives you an urge and we become a more exciting close-up look at Mt.Everest. The view from the top of Kala Patthar is panoramic and we get the sublime pleasure to have the world's tallest mountain enfacing us. The stunning view of the northern edge and top of Lhotse, Nuptse and Changtse is also panoramic. In Kala Patthar, we can observe The Mount Everest Webcam installed at an altitude of 5675m. With a heart full of happiness and the fresh memory of the world's tallest mountain and course best moments captured on camera, we descend back to Gorak Shep for an overnight stay. On the same day, we can choose to climb up to Everest Base Camp. After a short trek through the ice field road, we reach Everest Base Camp. The place is surrounded by mountain peaks like Nuptse, Khumbuste and Pumori. When we reach the spot we will see the mob of trekkers, colourful tents and a kind of overwhelming scenario. Beautiful blue glacial, unbelievable melting arrays, ice sculptures and Khumbu glacier, an enclosed ice valley between Everest and Lothse are the major attraction of Everest Base Camp. Immersing in the fascinating scenery of EBC we return to Gorak Shep for an overnight stay. Accommodation: Guest House Meal: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 12:Gorekshep to Pheriche
Today we trek back to Pheriche passing through Lobuche and Tholke village on the way. Trekker feels much easier today as the trails go downhill with a stunning view of mountains. Day 13:Pheriche to Tengboche
We walk down through the forest with rhododendron flowers of various colours, Himalayan shrubs and herbs along with the twittering sound of birds of several species. A short descending walk leads us to Orsho and then, we walk downhill to Tengboche and visit monasteries and hang around the local area. Day 14:Tengboche to Namche Bazzar
Today we will walk straight way for a few minutes and then move downhill on a plain sailing route covered with rhododendron, pine and juniper trees along with a bank of Dudh Koshi River. After crossing the bridge over Dudh Koshi River we descend via a green fine forest where we get a glimpse of birds like pheasant, Lophophorus impedance (National birds of Nepal), snow pigeons and animals like Himalayan Thar and mountain goats. The downhill trail gradually enters Sansa village from where the view of Nuptse, Thamserku and Ama Dablam is incredible, and then we reach Namche Bazaar for overnight stay accommodation: Guest House Meal: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 15:Namche Bazzar to Lukla
Today is the last day of trekking in the Himalayas. Along with the natural beauty, the social part of people is worth observing today. The trail is crowded with tourists and trekkers from various parts of the world. The traffic of porters, who make our trek possible, the yaks carrying heavy loads of stuff and the local people are the open books to get an insight into the social life of local people. Today we will walk beside Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges and bidding farewell to various settlements. As it is the last day of your trek please make the best of the way and feel free to enjoy the moment that you missed while moving uphill. Day 16:Lukla to Kathmandu
We leave the Himalayan region by catching the first flight to Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu, we can have better rest in the hotel or plan the sightseeing for other places in Katmandu valley. Doing souvenir shopping in a tourist hub area is the best option. We can arrange it according to your plan. In the evening we will have a farewell dinner in a traditional restaurant with cultural shows, cherishing the moment of successful accomplishment of your journey. Day 17:Departure
We conclude our Everest Base Camp Trek today. Our guest attendant will help you drop in at Kathmandu airport and bid adieu.
