Guide to Thailand skydive holidays

Most people associate Thailand with incredible food, backpacking and full moon parties but there’s another side to the country that’s really taking off (if you’ll pardon the pun). Thailand skydive experiences are fast becoming a feature of any holiday in this incredible country and it’s not hard to see why.

There are several places you can jump around the country but without doubt Pattaya is the most popular jumpzone. Located a few hours south east of Bangkok, down the coast, book a hotel in Pattaya for a couple of days and get ready for a skydiving experience with views like no other.

Whether you’re a first-timer or experienced jumper, few dropzones in the world can compete with Pattaya. When you’re falling from over 13,000ft, you’ll definitely see why. With stunning views across the Gulf of Thailand, you might even be able to glimpse the sprawling capital of Bangkok far in the distance.

Of course, the thrill of any Thailand skydive experience is not just in free fall. This warm and welcoming country is famous for its incredible hospitality, food and nightlife. World-class skydiving is just the icing on a particularly delicious cake.

A Thailand skydive experience also comes highly recommended because unlike many other skydiving destinations around the world, the predictable Thai weather means there is less chance of a cancellation. The warm, equatorial climate remains fairly constant all year round (apart from the predictable monsoon season).

The cost of skydiving in Thailand also makes it very appealing. Whilst not so cheap as to warrant concern about safety, a Thailand skydive experience won’t set you back nearly as much as a similar jump here in Europe or the UK.

With so many excellent reasons to try skydiving in Thailand, it’s little surprise it is fast becoming so popular.
